The Maynard Mansion was built in 1897 by the Maynard family, who took unprecedented pride in building perhaps one of the finest victorian mansions in the United States. Expense was no object in creating the ambience of stained glass, pillars, gingerbread details, woods, secret passages, 8,500 square feet of mystery.

The home has had four owners since 1897, each owner taking pride in the upkeep, not only of the mansion itself but the surrounding landscape. The front parlor has original Bradbury wallpaper done as in the turn of the century. The mansion is lavishly furnished with crystal and bronze chandeliers, Persian rugs, and furniture (for sale) fit for royalty at average people prices.

Please feel free to make an appointment to see The Maynard Mansion and see for yourself how you can live like the rich and famous at an average persons salary. The Maynard Mansion is lived in by the designers family and the mansion is open by appointment only.
